Mustang Math Mania is a middle school math competition run for students around the nation. It is put together by Mustang Math, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up of high school and college students!
The tournament is centered around teamwork and collaboration, incentivizing students to work with their teams not only to navigate the challenging but interesting problems of the tournament, but also to develop strategies to master the unique and fun game-like rounds. Kicking off the week prior to the tournament with a proof based round tailored towards middle school students, and continuing with innovative and interesting rounds such as “the ground is lava” and a risky gambling round, our tournaments are filled with fun and excitement for students at all levels.

In addition to the competition itself, we are hosting 2 free Intro to Proofs classes to prepare students for the week-long proof round in MMM! Proof techniques, which aren’t covered in a typical middle school classroom will benefit both students with no proof experience and experienced problem solvers. If interested, please join the Google Classroom.
